Book Review
Riveting story of how Virginia Prodan risks her life under Ceausescu's communist regime. There are several parts of the story that are significant tensions that are never resolved. In that way it is disappointing, but I can't help thinking this matches the reality of the Christian life for most of us. It is rare that we are able to put the heavenly bow on most things on this earth. So many of our relationships and experiences are the harness of brokenness that we will carry to the grave.
There are many people who die under communist regime's like this one. In Virginia's situation, God did spare her life, and this book shares her story of bravery through God's strength. It will keep you on the edge of your seat.
