I've listened to and / or read several books and articles like this book already, and so this book didn't feel like much new to consider. I didn't find it interesting how author Matt Ward evaluated Amazon, Google, Facebook, and Apple as businesses with some ideas on how they would improve their businesses. That said, Ward was somewhat repetitive often reusing the same sentence or two multiple times in his book. He also used some occasional profanity which was totally necessary for his content. The book also ends surprisingly early into its copy and almost half of the book is appendix copy.
If you haven't done much reading or research on these big four tech companies, then you might might a lot more value from this book than I did.
I am nuts about books. I read on all kinds of topics. I attempt to review each book I read for the sake of my own enrichment as well as conversation starters with others.
You never know what you will find in an attic! Usually there is a hodgepodge of things buried under dust.
Most of what is included here are notes to myself. The majority of folks will not find interest in these posts.
