Installing Quasar, NPM, and NVM on MacBook M1

I ended up using the directions from this article and abandoning nvm
Ensure that you have n installed
sudo npm install -g n // -g for global installation
Upgrading to the latest stable version
sudo n stable
Changing to a specific version
sudo n 10.16.0As of this date, Quasar needs Node 12 and lower
Install NVM
curl -o- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nvm-sh/nvm/v0.37.2/install.sh | bash
Install Node 12 - this will take forever to do.
nvm install v12 node --version
clear cache
nvm cache clear
