I am not ready to use the project config. In my use cases, it seems more of a nuisance than a help. Here is the link to the official docs on opting out. And, here are the steps along with an extra step that I needed to take.
Add the following line to your .gitignore
Run the next two commands on the command line in the repo root directory.
git rm -r --cached config/project/\* git commit -a -m 'Remove project config files'
Here is the extra step. If you have auto deploy on (like on Laravel Forge) and you have a failed deployment from committing the changes above, then you can ssh into the production server and run the following command in the production repo root:
git reset --hard origin/master

I am nuts about books. I read on all kinds of topics. I attempt to review each book I read for the sake of my own enrichment as well as conversation starters with others.
God has called me to be a pastor, and occasionally I have some pastoral thoughts I like to share.
