Book Review - Evangelism & the Sovereignty of God

Evangelism & the Sovereignty of God

By: J. I. Packer

Book Review

If I remember correctly, I came across the title of this book while reading another book. This short book is a practical powerhouse for what can be a thorny issue for Christians. I will acknowledge that I received what Packer had to say with ease because my view has been similar for years. What made me appreciate this book was that it was written well, easy to read, and accessible for all types of readers.

For folks who don't agree with his perspective, I challenge you to at least read, think, and sort out why you don't agree. Instead of rejecting something and using party-line logic to criticize it, carefully sort through its contents and think for yourself on these things. This is a good character trait to cultivate in ourselves.

Book Reviews

I am nuts about books. I read on all kinds of topics. I attempt to review each book I read for the sake of my own enrichment as well as conversation starters with others.
